A reason to build.
Security challenges often turn into a pile of separate scripts and browser tabs. ULTINT brings the common workflows into one shell, with consistent commands and readable findings.
How the pieces fit.
- 01
Built an interactive Python command shell with Rich output and separate modules for cryptography, social research, reconnaissance, and forensics.
- 02
Added encoding and cipher utilities, including a layered decoder that searches through combinations instead of requiring every transformation to be chosen by hand.
- 03
Grouped DNS, registration, HTTP, and historical-URL lookups into a reconnaissance workflow with phase-by-phase results.
- 04
Built a local file-analysis pipeline for identity, hashes, entropy, metadata, embedded content, and extracted strings, handling optional system tools as separate steps.
What came out of it.
Published a modular CLI that routes multiple security workflows through one interface, with structured output and an integrated social-research sub-shell.
Public Python source documents the command router, analysis modules, dependency setup, and supported workflows.
What I’d carry forward.
A useful toolkit needs to make partial results understandable. External tools and data sources fail independently; module boundaries and clear output matter as much as adding another command.
Working on something with similar edges?
